The ORSA Foam Technical Laboratory is equipped with instruments and staffed by experts in order to:
- verify the quality and characteristics of raw materials;
- ensure that all materials produced meet the fire retardant specifications according to in the main applicable Italian and international regulations (UNI 9175; BS 5852 part 2, source 5; California test Tech. Bull. 117 sec. AI and DII; FMVSS 302; UL94 HBF, etc.);
- ensure that all materials produced meet the physical and mechanical specifications according to in the main applicable Italian and international standards (UNI, UNI EN ISO, etc.);
- organize tests on materials with methodologies agreed directly with the customer;
- research and develop new formulations to meet the constantly evolving needs of the customer.
